Our trip to Atlantis in The Bahamas!!

We had an absolute AMAZING trip!! It was so nice to get away..and of course So nice to be home!!

WOW!! The place was SOOO INCREDIBLE!! It was HUGE and had SOO much stuff to do...They had everything there...tons of resturants, a club (that was fun..a little loud...getting old I guess), a casino (YEA!! Chad for winning some money), a comedy club, movie theatre, 4 beaches, water slides, huge aquariums, pools, awesome food/ drinks, etc.!!
We had a little set back on Wed. morning... You see, our flight was scheduled to leave at 6AM and I woke up at 5:22AM!! I think my exact words to Chad were, "OMG, we're going to miss our flight!!!" And, we did!! =(
We got dressed really really quick (the fastest I think I have ever gotten ready) and headed to the airport. They ended up putting us on an 11AM flight to Miami and then a flight from Miami to Nassau. We ended up getting to The Bahamas around 5PM -- at least we got our luggage....LOL!!

On Wed. night we went to the little restaurant off of the resort called The Poop Deck! OMG! Can I just say how amazing there food was and the drinks....even better!! The Pina Coladas were wonderful and the conch fritters...SOOOO good!!!!

On Thurs. Chad and I hung out at the beach and pool area. They had some really fun water slides and a rapids ride too..Oh the life!! Sitting in an intertube all day soaking up some much needed sun!!...SOOO much fun!! On Thurs. eve there was a reception at this little island called Dolphin Cay. We got to eat dinner and have drinks right near the dolphins! AMAZING!! After, we went to a comedy show at our resort! SOOOO funny!!

Fri. again...Chad and I just relaxed at the pool and beach area!!
Fri night we went to a cocktail party...again...INCREDIBLE! Chad's work really went all out on this trip!! It was lots of fun to get all dressed up and mingle with cocktails!! After, we went to the new club in Atlantis called Club Aura! It was fun! A tad small and SOO loud!! But, nice to get out on the dance floor and shake our hineys!

Sat. we rented jet skis and jet skiied on the ocean...Super fun!! We were every where!! Saw some of the houses where the movie stars lived, saw the island where "The Blue Lagoon" was filmed..really nice!!
After, we hung out at the beach and pool area again! On Sat. night we went out to Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill at The Cove at Atlantis! This place was incredible!! I had the corn meal crusted Chile Relano with mushrooms and cheese...It was SOOO good!! Oh, of course a margarita too!! YUMMY!!

Woooooooo Hoooooooooo!! On Wednesday morning at 6AM (OMG...Sooo early) we are off to THE BAHAMAS!! We are soo excited!! We are staying at the Atlantis Resort which I have heard it is incredible!! So, I will be sure to take LOTS of pics and post 'em when I return!!

Easter Weekend!

What a great weekend!! Tyler had SO much fun Egg Hunting! He did great too...next year he will for sure be ready!

On Sat. we went to Chad's parent's house and had Easter there....they offered to keep Tyler over night which was sooo nice. We went to the mall and did some shopping for our up coming trip and after went to On The Border...

On Sun. my Mom, sisters, and little cousin came over for a fun cook out!! We had so much fun!!

Our Fun-Filled Good Friday

This afternoon Tyler and I met some of our friends at the park. We had such a great time! The weather was perfect and Tyler is at the age now where he is just so much fun!! He was interacting with the other kiddos, watching the birds (I should just tell you that he loves birds...he has some that hang out outside his window at home and say tweet tweet and he gets so excited...Here are a few pictures I took. This evening Chad, Tyler, and I went out to dinner at Tin Star. We sat on the patio which was a big hit for Tyler!! He loves watching the birds, the cars, and all the action! He ate so good too!! He had his first chip with dip!! It was so cute...he would lick all the dip off the chip and then want me to wash off his hand because he'd get it messy (he has OCD just like me -- he he)...We all had so much fun and nice to get out!!

Tyler is talking so much more now a days! He says fish, ball, hot, Mommma (I am so excited about this since he quit saying Mommma for a LONG time), Da Da, Hi, Bye, and of course he NEW FAVORITE word NO!NO!NO!

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to an Easter Egg Hunt with our TX Tots Playgroup on Thursday! We had a great time. This was kinda Tyler's 1st Egg Hunt, last year he was still pretty young. He did really good. He would pick up the eggs and open them and then put all the candy/toys into his basket! I was very happy he did not put the candy that came off the ground into his mouth!

Chad's NEW fish tank!!

So, my husband got a new fish tank!! It is really nice, but the thing is HUGE!!! I am so NOT exaggerating!! We have a fairly big screen TV (42 inches I think) OK...maybe to some this is small since many people have over 60 inches now....
Anyways, check out the size of the tank compared to the TV...Amazing! Time for a bigger TV!! Wooo Hooo....Just in time for my Grey's Anatomy!!!
Also, my house has been an absolute mess for a few days now and I think it is FINALLY getting back to "normal"...PLEASE!!!! Anyways, here is a pic of the "new" aquarium!!!

Good Times at the Park!!!!

Tyler LOVES being outside!! So,we go to the park VERY often!! He always has such a good time!! Running, climbing, swinging, sliding, you name it -- he loves it!! Here are some pictures I took....ENJOY!!!

Day at the Dallas Zoo

Today we went to the Dallas Zoo. I have not been to this zoo since I was younger and I guess I am comparing it to the Fort Worth Zoo (which I absolutely LOVE) The Dallas Zoo was HORRIBLE!! Those poor animals!! Anyways, we'll NEVER go back there again. Next time we'll make the L-O-N-G drive down to FW and hit that zoo!! Tyler did have a good time though!! He loved looking at the animals!! This was his first time at the zoo too!! Here are some pictures I took. I did not get as many as I wanted...

Playdate at the park to celebrate St Patty's Day

On Friday we had a St. Patty's Day playdate at the park. It was such a blast. There was tons of food, drinks, and wonderful crafts to do (of course Tyler had NO interest in that though. He did however love it outside!! There was a little pond with tons of ducks and birds (his favorite right now) and a wonderful playground with a HUGE slide he slid down all by himself...Oh!! He is just growing up way too fast -- I know, I know! I ALWAYS say that, but he really is!! A month ago he was scared to go down alone...

Tyler loves to build. I admit ....I did help him a little, but Tyler did most of the building on his own. He is VERY good too. As you can see from these pictures the cups are stacked almost perfectly all the time! My little one is so smart...he must get that from his Mommy!! =)
