Tyler's 1st Day of Kindergarten!!!

Today, Tyler started Kindergarten!!! I'm not going to lie, I've been waiting for this day!! It gets hard during the day with two kids to entertain...and it's hard to entertain two kids that are four years apart. Today, though I was sad that my baby was really not a baby anymore!!! Today, my big boy started Kindergarten!!! Tyler did great....no tears!!! He was tired this morning, but he went to school with a BIG smile on his face!! I am happy to report that I held back all my tears too. I snapped a few photos of Tyler and his 1st day at school!! I am so incredibly proud of my Tyler!!!!

Tyler's 5th Birthday Party!

Today, we celebrated Tyler's 5th Birthday at Strikz, a bowling alley. The kids got to bowl and had so much fun!!! After, we all got to eat some pizza and cake and then they all got to play games!! Tyler had an amazing birthday...THANK YOU too all our family and friends who came out and helped us celebrate Tyler's big day!!!

Meet the Teacher!

Today, we went to Tyler's school and met his teacher!! He was so excited...a little tired though. We had to be there by 7:30AM. I think next week is going to be a HUGE change for Tyler....not just being in school 5 days a week, but the time he starts at 7:45 to 2:45. It's going to be a long, long day for him. I know he is excited about going though! Tyler got to meet his teacher, Mrs. Olsen and she seems like she's going to be wonderful! I am happy he is in her class! I am excited for my Tyler...a little sad too!! When I was signing him in the morning I about started crying. I am so thankful I was able to hold it in. Don't get me wrong, I am happy he's starting...but there is this little part of me that now knows ... my baby is no longer a baby...no longer a toddler...and no longer a pre-schooler....he is now a school aged kid!! It went way, way too fast!!

Ashton cracks me up!! He is by far the messiest eater I think I've ever seen and my goodness...the boy can eat!! He loves everything I put in front of him. Tonight, he ate meatloaf, green beans, sweet potatoes, and a pretty large cup of milk. He was a mess afterwards. I gave him a quick bath in the kitchen sink...luckily, he still fits. I captured this sweet picture of him!! I love it!!

Today, we met up with Mufyn and her kiddos at a local splash park!! The kids had so much fun!! It was HOT, but the water made it a little bearable. Here are some photos I took.

Mommy and Ashton Night!

Tonight, Chad took Tyler to The Cowboys Game (Tyler's 1st game, ever)!! So, Ashton and I had some time in the evening together!! We played chase...he LOVES it when I growl and chase him around the house...you should hear his belly laugh....makes me crack up every single time!!! He is such a fun baby....I mean toddler!! I heart him so much!!!

A visit to the park and some cooler weather!

Today, when I was picking Tyler up from his camp the temp was like 85 with a really nice wind. It looked like it might rain, but I didn't care!!! I can not remember the last time I was able to take my boys to a park!! It's been soo HOT this summer!! Well, today we finally got to hit one!! The boys had so much!!! Tyler met a new friend and Ashton had fun just running around the park and observing everything and everyone!!! Here are a few photos I took of them!!

Tyler's Soccer Progress!

We are so proud of Tyler!! As some of you may remember, Tyler was in soccer when he was 3 and he just did not ever want to play. Chad and I let it go and hoped he would want to play when he was just a little older. Well, what a HUGE difference waiting a year made!! Tyler had an awesome season!!
