Memorial Day 2011

Our family had a really fun weekend together!! We went to Chad's parent's house and enjoyed their pool. This was our first time in the pool this year. Tyler did great with swimming and Ashton loved being in the water!! It was a great weekend!! Looking forward to many more weekends at the pool with the fam!

I'm TEN Months!!!

Trip to Frisco Heritage Museum

Today, Tyler, Ashton and I met some friends at The Frisco Heritage Museum for their Story Time. It was lots of fun!! After, we all walked around and looked at all the old-timey stuff. They had stuff from different eras. They also have old houses and a train that they kids just loved. I am so glad I brought my camera and was able to get a few pictures of Tyler and his friend, Austin.

Ashton's very 1st haircut!!!

Today, I finally took Ashton to get his haircut. I wanted to wait a little longer because I loved his long hair, but it was beginning to look kind of mullet-ish in the back! So, we went to Cool Cuts for Kids and he LOVED it!! He got to sit in a little car and pretend to drive it and ring the bell. I have to admit, I love his haircut. It looks so much better!

My Graduate♥!

This morning, Tyler and his friends graduated Pre-School!! It was really so great that his school did this for the kids. They got to walk down the aisle while they played the graduation song (I have no clue what it's called, but I'm guessing you've heard it once or twice) :)
Anyways, Tyler did a GREAT job at his graduation!! He got his little diploma which was for "Most Caring Friend." I am so incredibly proud of Tyler!! He has made me such a proud Momma!! I could not ask for a more well-mannered little or should I say big boy!! I am so excited he's going to Kindergarten next year (so is he!!), but I'm a little sad too. This 'officially' means my baby is no longer a baby!! He's now a big kid!! I know it already, I'm going to be a mess on his 1st day of school!!!

Morning Fun w/ Ashton

This morning Ashton and I went to Central Park to look at the bulls!! He loved it this time!! He loved to crawl around, look at the bulls, try his best to go into the water and of course not smile for his Mommy while I had the camera. I wish this kid would smile for me. I think I need someone with me to help!! ;)

I LOVE this kid's hair!! I trimmed it a little yesterday because it's getting a little long, but I am so not ready to get his haircut just yet. I did that WAY too early with Tyler and he didn't look like a baby anymore :( This time around I am waiting a little longer!!

My Pre K Graduate

I am so proud of our Tyler. He's doing EXCELLENT and can not wait to start Kindergarten. Me on the other hand...I am so excited for him, but this makes me super sad. This really means that my baby is growing up. He is still my baby...but he's not my baby anymore. He's growing up! I know I am going to bawl on his 1st day of school. I got sad and a little teary eyed at his Kindergarten Parent Information Night for goodness sakes!! I'm going to HAVE to try and stay strong that day!!
Anyways, here is his graduation picture! He graduates on Wednesday! Can't wait to see my baby get his diploma!

My NEW water table

Tyler has been begging up to get his this water table. It is pretty cool. Well, we told him if he can sleep all night all by himself we would buy him one (he's been having some real bad nigthmares and waking up screaming and then waking up the whole house. It's getting a little better and he is sleeping all night for the most part. So, we bought it with the understanding that if he is scared he is not to scream. He needs to just come downstairs and then we'll talk about it. I know that seems a little harsh maybe. I think this is a real fear. I want him to know though that we are here for him and that he has to understand that there are no such things as monsters.
Anyways, since he's doing better here's his new water table! He LOVES it!!! He was so excited yesterday to play in it!!
