Happy 5th Birthday to Summer!!

WOW!! I can not believe my niece is already five years old. Seriously, it seems like just yesterday my sister Jessica was preggers with her. Time goes by so fast. Kinda of scary. Still, Summer had a wonderful fifth birthday party!! Her party was at Randall Mill Water Park in Arlington. It's this really kid friendly water park. All the kids had such a blast!! Here are a few pics I was able to shoot. I was trying to stay in the water that day as much as possible because it was soo stinkin' hot outside!!

Mommy and Me Cooking Class at Young Chef's Academy

On Saturday morning, Tyler and I went to The Young Chef's Academy with our Mommy Group. Tyler got to make pasta with spaghetti sauce and oatmeal raisin cookies. I was hoping that since Tyler was able to make his own pasta he'd at least try some (like all the other kiddos there). Nope, my child will NOT try new things. He did eat the cookies though. Either way, we had an excellent time and can not wait to do it again sometime soon.

Happy Father's Day to Chad!

A week or so ago, I took Tyler to this place called Color Me Mine. You can choose your very own pottery to paint. It was really neat. Tyler (kind of) chose a stein to paint for his Daddy. He had a blast painting it!

Monday at the Park!!!

This morning Tyler and I went to the park to do some painting. My kid loves art, so I figured he'd be thrilled to get to paint. Not really! There was a park very close, so he really wanted to go over there and play. He painted a little, then we headed off to the park for a few minutes, we did not stay too long 'cuz it was just too HOT!!!!

Splash Day @ School!

Today, Tyler's preschool had a little splash day planned for all the kiddos. Tyler was soo excited to get to go and participate today!! He LOVES his new school this summer. Thankfully, he is in a class with some of his friends from our Mom's Group.
Here are a few pics I took this AM before sending him off to school (Oh, I normally would not let him take even a play gun to school, but his teachers requested they bring water toys like spray guns).

Tyler's First Day of Summer School!!!!

Today was Tyler's first day of Summer School!! Wooo Hooo!! He loves it and so do I!! He was very excited to go today and meet new teachers and a few new friends (most of his friends in his class he knows, so that is very nice).

After I dropped off Tyler some friends and I headed over to this awesome little cafe right across the street from Tyler's school. I am not a big breakfast person, but this food was awesome. I can not wait to ga back soon!
