Frisco Fire Safety Town!

Today, Tyler and I ventured to The Frisco Fire Safety Town. It was pretty darned cool! They have an actual town that is literally kid sized! They had a really cool fire truck that the kids got to sit in. Tyler LOVED it! We can not wait to go back when he is a tad older and get some real safety courses. Here are a few pics from our day. Haunted House Fun

On Saturday night Chad and I got together with Freddie and Shelly for some FUN and SCARY haunted housing! We went to The Parker House in Lewisville! It was pretty scary and LONG! Normally, haunted houses seem to only last 10 minutes at the most, this one had to last at least 30 minutes! It was great! I made the ghosts and ghouls mad I think since I was taking a few pics! Sowwwy!

Mom's Night Out!

On Wednesday evening I got together with my Mom's Group for a MUCH needed Mom's Night Out at Tijuana Latin Grill in Frisco!! We had a wonderful time talking and just hanging out!!

Ranch Weekend

Every year in October our family and friends gather at Chad's family's Ranch in Davis, OK. This year Chad, Tyler and I rented a camper and decided to 'rough it' a bit for a few days! It was the best decision ever! We had an AWESOME time!! It was a tad cold at night and there was no room service, but other than that GREAT...it had electricity, water (hot too), a bathroom, shower, toilet, fridge and freezer, and beds! What more could a girl ask for??!! :)


We took Tyler for the first time when he was only 2 months old and that year it was VERY cold!! Last year, Tyler was not quite walking yet on his own. This year was quite different!! The boy is walking and running away from me, playing with friends, and of course throwing the WONDERFUL 2 year old tantrums!! Besides that, it was great!! Great weather & great time with our family and friends!!

After we got home we decided to play some soccer. I have been saying for a while that I really want to get Tyler into a soccer class befor he turns 3. He is really good and LOVES to play!!

Pumpkin Patch Fun!!!

Today, Tyler and I went back to The Pumpkin Patch in Celina with our playgroup. We had a really great time going back! Tyler has been talking about the pumpkin patch since we went last time, so I figured we'd go back and see it again! He loved running through the pumpkin patch counting all the pumpkins! He loved feeding the animals! He loved the tractors! He loved riding on the hay ride - they had a little pond and the whole way around the pond we searched for little Nemo (he is now obsessed with Nemo)!

Today, Chad and I FINALLY got some MUCH needed alone time!!! He has been outta town this past 2 weekends and the weekend before that I was outta town. His work schedule has been very hectic lately, so getting any 'Chad and Carly time' has been pretty slim unfortunately!! Chad's Dad gave us tickets to the Cowboy Game. Chad and I decided to leave a little early and hit brunch at The Blue Goose!! It was sooo YUMMY!! We were a little early so we headed to The Corral to have a drink or two more after arriving at the stadium ;)...
The game was GREAT....The Cowboys won!! After the game I was not really ready to go home yet. After all, how often do you get a sitter all day and night?? We decided to go to Blue Mesa for another margarita!! I was still not ready to go so after that we went to II Brothers for another drink!! Yes, I know...I am a lush...I felt like back in the day bar hopping...LOL!! It was fun!!

Thanks again SOOOO much to Rayme and Pa-Pa for the ticks and keeping our baby!!!

The Pumpkin Patch

Today, my sister Jessica and her daughter Summer came over to play!! We decided we'd take the kids to the Pumpkin Patch in Celina!! Summer and Tyler loved it!! The two were sooo incredibly cute!! Here are some pics from our fun day!! Thanks again Jess and Sum-Sum for coming over...We had an AWESOME time as always with you two!!
