Like Mommy....Like Son.....

So, if you know me you HAVE to know how much I LOVE Starbucks. My husband thinks I keep them in business....I feel pretty good about that!! LOL!! So, this morning I had some errands to run and I SOOO needed my caffeine fix!! I saw a drive through Starbucks .. Wooooo Hoooo for whoever thought of that one -- especially with a toddler in the car!! I asked Tyler if he wanted to have a Starbucks with Mommy. Tyler said, "yas, yas, yas" Well, the nice Barista gave Tyler his very own cup so he could drink just like Mommy...minus the coffee of course!! Family Day at The Dallas Arboretum

Today.............Tyler, Chad, and I went to the Dallas Arboretum for a photo shoot with LE Yanelli... http://www.photographybyle.com/ ...(she did our family pictures back in January and she is AWESOME) What a great day we had!! Tyler had an absolute BLAST!! He LOVES the outside, so this was a DEFINITE hit with him -- the whole day he said "outshide, outshide, outshide...his FAVORITE word)!!!

20 Months!!??

Oh my goodness.....Where does the time go?? I can not believe my baby -- YES, he is STILL my baby and will ALWAYS be!! But, I am in WOW! He was 20 months yesterday! I remember just like it was yesterday finding out we were prego and here we are today with a little one who is reaching 2 years...Well, it IS true!! Time flies when you are having fun! I thought I'd share just a few pictures of what my baby looked like a year ago. He has changed SOO much!! I love him more and more each day! Enjoy!

Four Wheeling Video

Four Wheeling Fun!

Tyler had such a fun day!! Today was his last day at his Mother's Day Out class. We will for sure miss his WONDERFUL teachers! When we got home the weather was just so nice we decided to take his four wheeler out to the backyard and practice some 4 wheeling.....after all, I am sure he will be up at the ranch with his Daddy and Pa Pa on the "REAL" four wheeler soon....OH MY! Anyways, he had a blast!! Enjoy the pics and watch the video too!!

A day off with my little boy...

So, today is Wednesday and it is my day off! YEAH!! I LOVE my new job, but I REALLY LOVE being home with Tyler! Today we had a fabulous day! First off, we slept together because our neighbors have not cleaned up there house from the storm almost a week ago and they have a piece of siding that bangs against their house every time the wind blows! Well, this REALLY scares Tyler! So, I let him sleep in the guest bed with me so Daddy could get some sleep!
This morning we got to eat breakfast together...Eggs and coffee...well, I drank the coffee and Tyler ate the eggs!! YEAH Tyler!!
After, we played with our toys for a little while and watched a little Mickey Mouse Club...Tyler LOVES Mickey! I am SOOO looking forward to taking him to Disney World in a few years!!
This afternoon we went over to our friend's house and played with some of our friends from our Mom's Group! We had fun there as usual too!

Tyler's NEW love...

If anyone knows my son you must know he is the pickiest of eaters!! Well, I think he is changing -- YEAH!! On Friday evening after our play date we took Tyler to a little Mediterranean Restaurant that had a really cool patio. We all sat on the patio and watched the cars go by and the birds fly by! Of course that was a hit with Tyler...Ya just never know when you are eating out with a toddler!! Well, Tyler ate grilled chicken nuggets with some sort of french fry mediterranean style. He wanted to taste my chicken wrap....Oh! He LOVED it!! He literally gobbled my chicken down!! On Saturday I thought I'd give raisins a try...thinking again he would not even touch them....Oh my goodness.....He LOVED them too!!! He ate the entire box....and another one after dinner...He chose raisins over his animal cookies!!!! Here are a few pics of my little raisin lover...

Oh yea...he has a nasty stye is his eye so that is why my poor little baby's eye looks like it does...we hope it gets back to normal soon!!
