Tyler's 3 Year Pictures!!

Today, Tyler and I decided to head to a new park and TRY and get some cute three year old pictures. I've never done this before, but I must say I am pretty happy with the pictures I got. We are going to HAVE to go back with Daddy since they have cattle statues that Tyler wanted to sit on.

FINALLY!!! Today, Tyler pee-peed on the potty!!! He actually sat down and actually went in the potty!! He was soo proud of himself, I was too!! He's gone five times already today!! I am so thankful!! I know we still have a long road ahead before he is "fully" potty trained, but this is for sure a start and I am glad to be here!

Such a multitask-er, already!

Favorites from today!

Here are a few of my FAVE pics from today!! Tyler and I had so much fun together today!! This morning, we pee-peed on the potty four times (we spent more than 1/2 the morning in the potty due to him not wanting to leave)!! YEAH for Tyler!! For lunch, we went to Chick n' Fil A with our friends Tatum and Heather-- Chick n' Fil A is Tyler's favorite place in the whole world, as he says!! After, we had to play for a while on there playground. We had a blast. When we came home we played in our backyard for a little bit and I got some pretty good pictures. We are going next week for Tyler's 3 year old pictures, so hopefully we'll get even more pics!! Later, I had some errands to run and Tyler decided to fall asleep in the car. He looked soo dang uncomfy (see the post below). Luckily, we were very close to home and he got to so most of his sleep in his bed. Anyways, just wanted to share some of of fun day with you!

On Saturday afternoon our family was invited to Grisham Farms to celebrate Trevor's third birthday! Tyler had a blast! He loves animals and playing with all his friends. They had a really cool petting presentation where the kids got to pet animals like rats, hedgehogs, snakes, etc. Tyler petted a few, but like his Mommy I guess was a little freaked out by some of them, lol! After, we got to feed the animals like pigs, dogs, horses, and sheep! It was a blast!

Well, if I've ever told you about my son you probably know he is the pickiest eater out there. It has gotten kind of crazy. I am no longer the Mom who makes him something different to eat. He HAS to at least try it. So, last night I made chicken and rice. He loves both. Usually he gobbles them up. Well, because the chicken was not the pre-packaged chicken nuggets and the rice was not white, he would not even try them. He then asked for some dip dip (dip dip = ketchup)
ketchup). Chad put some ketchup on his chicken and rice and he kind of tasted it. YECH! I do not like ketchup on my rice and chicken...not sure where he gets this from? Oh well, at least he is somewhat trying!!

I think my child may FINALLY have some interest in potty training!

This evening Tyler was playing upstairs by himself and when Chad and I walked up here we found Tyler in his bedroom with all of his clothes off and looking for some big boy underwear. I am soo proud of Tyler! He wanted to wear his big boy underwear and sit on the potty and try to go pee-pee! YEAH for Tyler!!

Ice Cream for Dinner!!!!!!

I know! You must think I am a bad Mommy, giving my kid ice cream for dinner. It was so good and I totally can not turn down ice cream. We had a late play date at Double Dips on Wednesday afternoon (it was "National Eat an Ice Cream Sundae Day", seriously)!! So, we could not miss this!!
It was so much fun!! I absolutely love this age that Tyler is at, he is such a good little boy and so much fun to be around. He sat so nicely and ate all of his ice cream (I totally knew that would not be a problem). Then he wanted to play with his friends. Tyler and his friends all played so nicely together. It was so cute to watch them all talk to each other and just have so much fun together!! I love our Mommy Group and I am SOOO thankful for all of the friends both Tyler and I have both made!!

Happy 4th of July!!

This weekend was GREAT!! On Friday night, Chad took over all of Mommy duties to let me go and get some rest and relaxation at my Mom's house. It was so nice to get to spend some time with my Mom. We got to go to dinner, talk, look at bunches of old pictures, and just lots of FUN together! I do not get to see her enough, so this was so nice!! Thanks again, Mommmmma & Chad...you two are WONDERFUL!!
On Saturday, I finally got going and went to Gary and Shirley's house to swim with Chad and Tyler (they were already there). We had a great time there. It was nice to be able to get in the pool since it was like 108 that day, seriously!!! That evening we watched fireworks. They were so beautiful! Tyler was very excited this year to see them. He talked about all day about seeing the "boom-booms" Lots of fun!! After they were over, Tyler stayed the night with Gary and Shirley so Chad and I could have some "Chad and I time". It was GREAT to get to sleep in again!!
On Sunday, Chad and I went back to there house to swim some more. Too bad it was raining. At least the weather was a little cooler though!!
All and all it was a really great weekend!!
I did not get too many pics, we were just too busy I guess. I'll have to work on that!! Here are a few though......Enjoy!!
