Ashton's 1st Birthday Invite

Yesterday, my good friend Heather did Ashton's 1 year pictures. She got the cutest picture of him after he smashed his smash cake in his face!! I have never in my life seen a baby eat a cake the way he did!! It was everywere!! It was so stinkin' cute though!! I can not wait to see the rest of her pictures!! We are doing a lion theme for his 1st birthday!! I can not wait! It'll be here sooo soon!!!

Happy 11 Months to our Ashton

Seriously, he's 11 months??!! Where did the past 11 months go?? I remember just like yesterday packing up and ready to go to the hospital to have our baby boy!!

Ashton is such a fun baby!! He has such a wonderful personality. He loves to eat....he will try anything I give him. He hates baby food and always wants to taste what his Mommy and Daddy are eating. He loves to laugh, play and explore everything!! He doesn't like getting his diaper changed, getting dressed, getting ready for his naps. He LOVES his big brother so much!! He is beginning to play and really interact with Tyler. He loves all of Tyler's toys and is really not all that interested in his toys.

I'm so thankful to have this sweet baby boy in our life!! He has brought such joy and happiness to our family!!

Weekend Wrap - Up!

Our family had an amazing weekend, I'd thought I'd share a few pics of the fun we had! On Saturday, I attended my 1st photography class! I'm so excited to start on this journey and learn more about photography! I love photographing my family, and I think this is perfect for me! After, I took Tyler to his cousin, Summer's birthday party! She's turning 7 next week! We had a blast there!
Saturday night, Chad and I had a babysitter all night long (WOOOO HOOOOO)! We went out and had so much fun together!! We needed this soo bad!!! We truely love our kids, but it's hard sometimes when you seem to loose the focus on each other. We went to dinner at a Mexican Resturant called Hacienda. It was really good!! They have the BEST margaritas! I had a margarita with an extra shot of tequila that was infused in mango and habenero pepper! YUMM-O! After, we went to a wine bar and did some wine tasting. Then, we went to a little night club called Lotus. Lots and lots of fun!!
On Sunday, we did some swimming and LOTS of relaxing!! Those 2 AM getting in nights are HARD when you're in your 30s!! Tyler had a soccer game in the evening and his team won! YEAH Tyler!!
All in all it was an amazing weekend!!

Tyler is loving soccer this season! His team is doing great too, they are undefeated!! Way to go, Tyler!! I didn't get to go to this game, Chad did and he snapped a few pics I'd love to share!!

Jessica's Family Pictures

I had the pleasure to snap some pics of Jessica and her family. We went to The Botanical Gardens in Grapevine. It was nice there, just extremely hot!! Here are some of my favorites!!

Our new pool and some soccer playing!

Well, not exactly the pool I want. But, this will do to keep the kiddos cool this summer! Tyler & Ashton both loved this!! There is obviously not a ton of room, but the two sat and played nicely together.







Tyler is playing indoor soccer this summer also and he is loving it!! He's had one game and Chad said he did great (Tyler said he loved it too). I missed his 1st game, but I can not wait to go and watch him play this weekend!! He looked so cute in his uniform at his game....

Having fun outside

You would not belive how much Ashton loves to be outside. When he wakes up in the morning I open his mini blinds and he gets the BIGGEST smile on his face!! It's so cute!! He looks out the window to the outside all day pretty much. This morning before it got too hot, we enjoyed some outside time together while Tyler was at his Vacation Bible School. Here's my lil sweetheart!!
