He goes to bed between 7-7:30PM and sleeps 'til 4-4:30AM has a little bottle and goes back to sleep 'til 7:30-8:00 ish (knock on wood.) He is seriously a GREAT baby ... makes me want another one ;)!!!

Happy 4 Months to our Sweet Ashton!!!!

Happy 4 Months, Ashton!! We love you so much!!
Love,
Mommy, Daddy and Tyler

Can you believe another month has passed??!! My baby is growing up soo quickly!! Ashton loves to be held, but not too much. He also loves to play in his exersaucer, lay in his crib before bedtime after his bottle and watch his mobile, be out and about (he HATES being cooped up in the house all day -- just like his Mommma ;) ), he loves when you sing to him, he loves to talk, and well, he is just a happy and VERY easy baby!!
We go on Tuesday afternoon to his 4 month check up. I will update his stats then.

What is Ashton doing at 4 months?
Researchers believe that your baby can now understand all the basic sounds that make up his native language. Between this time and 6 months of age, he'll develop the ability to make some of these sounds, which means you may hear the words you've been dreaming about, namely "mama" and "dada." While child development experts say it's too early for your baby to connect those sounds with you, that won't make hearing them any less exciting.

You can encourage your baby's attempts at communication by mirroring or imitating his expressions and sounds. He may try to imitate you, too. Say "ba" and he may try to say it back.

Reacting when your baby makes noises or tries to say something will help him learn the importance of language and better understand cause and effect. It's great for his self-esteem, too: He'll begin to realize that what he says makes a difference.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!!

Today, I took the boys to see Santa Clause!! It's great to go early because seriously there is no line what so ever!! I only wish both boys were smiling.

The boys before the mall

Snow at The Shops at Willowbend. They did a really cute Narnia display this year (it's a new movie that is coming out next month).

It's SANTA!!!!

I heart my bebe Pod

Okay, so it's not a Bumbo. It's a Prince Lionheart bebe Pod. I really wanted a Bumbo, but the Target we went to did not have them. There goes my impatience!! I HAD to have one right then!! Oh well. Ashton still loves it. He is still a little floppy, but I'm sure with a little more practice he will get it!!

♥ I am SOOO thankful for my husband♥

I am sooo thankful for my husband!! I love him more than words!!

Hooray for Tyler!!!!

I've been working with Tyler for forever it seems on getting him to write his name all by himself. He does awesome tracing his name, but always said he could not write it by himself. Well, today his teachers sent home a note saying that Tyler wrote his name all by himself!!! I am soo super proud of my Tyler!!

Way to go, Tyler!! Keep up the AWESOME work!! I love you so much, sweetheart!!

I'm 15 Weeks

Can you believe Ashton is 15 weeks?

Just chillin'!

I do NOT love my tummy time, however I am and have been doing great holding my head up. In fact, I really just want to sit up. See below! :)

Yes, I am on my Boppy. But, look at me. I am trying so hard to sit up and I am only 3 1/2 months. My Mommy wants me to slow down a little, but I really have no desire to. She wants me to be her baby, but I'm ready to go!!

I REALLY love to play with my tongue and my hands. I love to eat my hands also. My Mommy thinks I may be eating my hands because I'm getting some teeth.

Look! I have a tongue!

I like to take naps in my swing. My crib is only for night time. If you put me in my crib in the daytime I will scream!!
Oh! Yes, my Mommy normally buckles me in. She wanted to get a picture of all of me ;)

I'm just a happy baby!
