Dinosaurs!

This morning, Tyler and I decided to take an adventure to The Dinosaur Exhibit at The Heard Dinosaur Museum in McKinney!! It was a little cold at first, so we layered our clothes and headed outside for some fun!! I was a tad worried that Tyler may not like the dinosaurs (he LOVES them in books, but he has never seen a life-sized one) I was very surprised. He did GREAT!! No tears what so ever! The dinosaurs were life-like. They made noises and moved! It was a great morning to get out and look at all the dinos!! We can not wait to go back again someday soon!! Planet Pizza!

Today, Tyler and I met a friend and her little girl at Planet Pizza!! It was great!! They had fun rides and a really cool playarea!! Tyler & I had so much fun!!

Cupcakes!!!!!

Today, Tyler and I went to The Cupcakery in Frisco for YUMMMY cupcakes!!! Tyler picked the red strawberry shortcake cupcake (probably the most messy one) but, he LOVED it!! He had such a fun time sitting on the patio enjoying the beautiful weather while eating cupcakes with his Mommy!! What an awesome afternoon!!







Yes, he ate the entire cupcake all by himself...and was bouncing off the walls as you can imagine... It was so much fun though!! I love getting to spend my days with him!! It is AWESOME!!

Our Fun, Fun, Fun Weekend!!

This weekend Tyler's Rayme and Pa Pa offered to keep him the whole weekend! So, Chad and I had the entire weekend to ourselves. It was so nice! On Saturday day I went to get my hair done (which I love by the way - I decided to go pretty dark - the darkest yet) Then, Saturday night we went to dinner at Red's Patio Grill in Plano. Then, we came home to relax for a little bit and decided to go out to Addison to Blackfinn with my BFF Kathy! It was fun, although we did not stay very long due to me being super tired!! It was so nice to get out though for a while and even nicer to have a full nights sleep AND get to sleep in!!

On Sunday, Chad and I watched some football, then we went to see the movie Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood. It was really good. It was so nice to have a nice relaxing weekend together!!

On Monday, I picked up Tyler and we came home and made PIZZA!! Our favorite!! Tyler even got to help a bit!! He is an awesome helper!!

Fun Playdate!

On Saturday night, Tyler and I went to Heather's house and got together with a few friends for an evening playdate. It was so much fun! Tyler and I had an awesome time!! Thanks so much again Heather and Tatum for inviting us out!!

This morning we got a knock on our door. It was our Home Owner's Association! They told us we won 2nd prize for the Christmas Decorating Contest. We had absolutely no idea there was such a contest! But, awesome that we won. Next year we'll have to do just a tad better with the exterior decorations and try for 1st prize!
So...I just wanted to say...Hooray for Chad!! He did an awesome job as always!!

Tyler's new bedroom

Since Tyler is not a baby anymore (sniff, sniff) we have decided to re-do his room. Tyler has been sleeping in a full size bed for a while now and we bought a nice bed and a dresser for his new big boy room. An early Christmas gift from Santa was a real aquarium - with cute little fish too! I have wanted to change the color in his room for a while now (I am very sick of Winnie The Pooh -- never again!!)
So, we kept the blue and the clouds on the top of his room as the sky. On the bottom (the part that used to be blue) we painted blue (the ocean) with cute ocean life!! It is AWESOME!! You should have seen Tyler's face!!
