One month!

Happy 1 Month to Beckett!  It's been amazing!  A little busy...well, very busy!  But, I am loving it!  I would not want it any other way!

Beckett is doing awesome!  He is a very happy baby!  He is getting so big too.  We went to the Dr this week and his pedi says he is doing and looking great...a perfect baby!  YAY!

Here are his 1 month stats:

Height: 22" (75%)
Weight: 10.7 (70%)
Head: 15 1/2 (75%)

He is really getting big! At his 2 week appointment he was only in the 20% for weight. Now he's 70%....WOW....Getting super big!!

Happy 2 Weeks, Beckett

Can not believe it's already been 2 weeks. It's been amazing. A little hard at times, but HE makes up for that! I am so proud to say that Tyler & Ashton have been incredible with their baby brother. Both are so helpful! Tyler is so in love with Beckett. He loves to hold him. He tells him how much he loves him all the time and he helps me out so much! Ashton is amazing! He loves to hold his hands, kiss his forehead and help me out as well. He is so very gentle with Beckett and when Beckett is sleeping he tries so hard to be so quiet. I am amazed at these three and so in love with all of them! We went to Beckett's 2 week appointment today and here are his stats.

Height: 20 1/2 inches(45%)
Weight: 8.0 pounds (25%)
Head: 14 1/2 (45%)

All about Beckett's world right now.

Your womb was a warm and cozy environment, and it takes time for your baby to adjust to the various sights, sounds, and sensations of life outside your body. You may not be able to detect much of a personality just yet as your baby spends his time moving in and out of several different states of sleepiness, quiet alertness, and active alertness. The only way your baby knows to communicate is by crying, but you can communicate with him through your voice and your touch. (He can now recognize your voice and pick it out among others.) Your baby probably loves to be held, caressed, kissed, stroked, massaged, and carried. He may even make an "ah" sound when he hears your voice or sees your face, and he'll be eager to find you in a crowd.

Tyler's 6 Year Stats

We had Tyler's 6 yr appt. and he is doing great! Growing like a weed! He's tall and skinny, but very healthy!


Here are his stats.
Height : 46 inches (55%)
Weight : 42.2 pounds (25%)
BMI : 14.0 (5%)

They did a hearing and vision screening -- which he did perfectly on! YAY! His Dr asked him what kind of green vegetables he liked. Of course, if you know my child he will not touch anything green. He said he'd work on trying some.  That is our next goal!

Ashton's 1st Day of Preschool!

Ashton started preschool!  Can not believe he is old enough!!  It was a tough day for him (and me, too).  I think with the new baby here he just doesn't quite get why I am sending him to school and staying home with the baby.  He's been very clingy and wants to be held pretty often.  It breaks my heart when he's crying and I just can not hold him at that very second, because I am holding Beckett or feeding Beckett.
Anyways, he had a GREAT 1st day!  They said he was a little sad at naptime, but other than that he was happy.  I wish I had some better pictures of his 1st day, but this is what I got.

My 1st Sponge Bath

Beckett had his 1st sponge bath!  He can have his "real"1st bath after his belly button heals....almost!  Is he not the cutest?!?!?

Welcome to the world, Beckett Wayne!!

On Tuesday, August 28 at 8:55am, Beckett Wayne was born! He weighed 6lbs 14oz and was 20in. He is perfect! We are all so in love! He is by far such a GREAT baby! He eats and sleep and poops -- I guess that's what babies are supposed to do right now. Still, sometimes I feel the need to just wake him up. I have to quit that and just let him sleep. Here are some pictures that were taken on the day of his birth and some from us in the hospital. I am so thankful I had my camera and an amazing nurse who captured some pretty amazing pics of Beckett's birth.
