A trip to the park to see the wildflowers, turtles and of course run away from Momma!

Ashton and I have so much fun together while Daddy is at work and Tyler is at school. I know I need to do as much with him now because later this summer everything will change (for the better, of course)....just want to be sure I give him enough Mommy / Ashton time.
Ashton loved picking the wildflowers!! Thank goodness no one was around, because I am pretty sure that is frowned upon around here...maybe even illegal! He also LOVED looking at all the turtles in the little creek. I've been trying to work with him on not running away from me. Well, he's getting better....BUT, he decided to try and run into the creek! I almost dropped my camera trying to stop him. Silly little boy!! Here are some pictures I snapped of our morning together. It's a little hard to get pics of a toddler who is so active and be sure he stays safe! LOL!

20 weeks! 1/2 way there!

Can you believe it?? I can't!! It's going so fast! In less than 20 weeks we'll be meeting our new baby boy! I can not wait!! We've been talking about names, but Chad and I can not seem to agree on anything....hopefully something will come to us soon. We found his crib and bedding atleast! We just have to buy it and put it all up! ;) Soon!!
I went back to the high risk Dr who does the NT Scan. Everything (all the tests) have come back great! The chances of our baby having down's syndrome and Trisomy 13 are very low. Thank goodness!! I do have to go back for another checkup in 4 weeks however. One of the baby's kidneys is a little enlarged. Meaning it's full of urine. He didn't seem too concerned. Said it's more common in male fetuses and if it's just one they will just monitor it and be sure it does not get any bigger. The good news is is this normally resolves by itself with no need for anything other than monitoring. I will for sure keep everyone posted.
On a really good note, baby is healthy! He is 12 oz. now and his heartbeat was in the 150s. I go back to my regular OB on April 30 for my belly check. I'll update then, too! Check out our little one!
