Tummy Tuesday.....Week 26

How Ashton is growing and developing in week 26......
The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel. His testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.

Baby Ashton's Nursery

It's finally beginning to come together. Last weekend Chad painted the room!! He did a AWESOME job!! We ordered Ashton's crib and dresser a few weeks ago and got them in this weekend! I LOVE his crib!! I can not wait until he is here and gets to sleep in it. It's one of those Lifetime Cribs that is supposed to last a lifetime basically or until college at least. We still have to get a changing table, rocker/glider and do some decorating the room to make it look more like a nursery.........Here are some pictures, updated ones will come later when the room is totally complete.

Having soo much fun setting up Ashton's crib.....Yep, Tyler helped a little too!

Ashton's crib! I love this crib! I've never seen a crib like this! The top folds over to make it easier to get baby out when baby is young. When baby is older it folds back up. It's super cool and different which I love!!

"U" is for Umbrella!

On Thursday for Show n' Tell at Tyler's school they did "U" is for Umbrella and had Umbrella Day. Tyler HAD to have a Super Hero Umbrella. I can't believe I was able to find him a Spider Man Umbrella. He LOVED it!! He was so excited to take it to school and show his friends and teachers.
Every day he asks me if it's going to rain so he can use his Spider Man Umbrella. Luckily, we are expecting rain this weekend!!

Tyler's Spring Pictures

Today, I decided to take some Spring Pictures of Tyler. It's been beautiful outside and the flowers are really blooming right now. We went and did a few poses in The Texas Bluebonnets, but we had to work quickly because there were so many bees. Momma does NOT like bees! After, we went to a little park in Frisco called Central Park. They don't have a playground or anything like that there. They have cattle sculptures, waterfalls, and native Texas landscaping. We had so much fun! Hope you enjoy his pictures as much as we did taking them.

Tyler LOVING The Texas Bluebonnets!!

Playing Hop-Scotch

This lolly was the highlight of our afternoon. He LOVED eating it and made it look so cute!

I just love these! Tyler was so excited to sit by the cattle and have Mommy snap some pictures of him!

Bye, Momma!

A trip to the farm!

Today, even though my allergies were kicking my butt I HAD to get out of the house!! Tyler and I decided we would head out to Owens' Farm in Richardson. It's a cute little farm. They have goats, mini ponies, geese, ducks, turtles, chickens, longhorns, and a few other animals. Tyler LOVES animals, so I figured this would be right up his alley. We both had a really good time!! We looked at all the animals then ate our lunch at one of the picnic table. I'm so thankful I get these days with my son. I am so lucky!

The goats were a little hungry you could say!! As soon as we walked over to feed them this goat grabbed Tyler's food and ate the whole cup!!
