Texas Tornado!!??

Early Thursday morning the wind, thunder, lightning, and rain woke me up!! It was SOOO loud. It sounded like a freight train was heading towards our house!! I ran upstairs and grabbed Tyler outta his crib (I am amazed this storm had not woken him up yet). We ran downstairs and turned on the TV to see what was going on (I know now next time we will be taking cover) The weather man said SW Collin Co was under a tornado warning (not us) so, I really thought we were just getting the after effects from the storm...well, next time I will for sure be smart and take cover!! I am soo thankful nothing happened to Chad, Tyler, or I. Our trees were damaged a little, our roof lost some shingles and some lifted, our fence was damaged a little from our neighbor's fence across the street that flew into our backyard...all I can say is THANK YOU for not flying into one of our windows.

This is the person's fence (I think) who lives across the street from us!! ***UPDATE***It IS the fence from across the street...it damaged the side of our fence too and there is a HUGE gash in our front yard where the fence must have hit before it blew into the back side yard...

Another picture of the fence from across the street...THANK GOODNESS it flew back there and not into our home....We are VERY lucky!!

The shingles above our garage that have lifted or are gone....I did not notice any other places...but who knows!!

Our BEAUTIFUL tree in our front yard...I am just sick about this...BUT, SOOOOOOOO incredibly thankful!! The window where the branch is at is our bedroom window and the window upstairs is Tyler's bedroom window!! Thank Goodness AGAIN!!

Both trees in our front yard were damaged...so, not sure what we are going to do with them....Pooor trees!!! =((
