So, last week Chad and I left Tyler w/ Rayme and Pa Pa and headed to San Antonio and New Braunfels!! We had a GREAT time and it was SOO nice to have some time to ourselves for a few days! We started off in New Braunfels and went tubing on The Guadalupe River - what a blast...MINUS the EXTREME heat, dehydration from forgetting water -- at least we had liquor though =)~ and me banging my elbow on a rock and Chad sliding down the rocks without his tube. It was still FUN! Then, we headed off to San Antonio and stayed at this AWESOME hotel on the Riverwalk called Hotel Valencia (they are building one here in Dallas and I am so excited to maybe stay there one night) It was really nice!! The only thing that was wrong with it was no pool...you'd figure in San Antonio there would be a pool..we made due though!! It was really nice to just be able to walk down to the Riverwalk and sip on a YUMMY margarita or my NEW favorite a mojito!! The next day we decided to take a nice scenic drive to the Texas Hill Country and go to some of the wineries there. How awesome this was!! It was BEAUTIFUL first off and the wine was not bad either! Looks like you guys had a blast. I think I know which rocks you guys are talking about...that's where I almost busted hard core! We need to catch up soon for lunch or something and get the boys together.

looks like ya'll had a great time on your vacation. i need to get the winery info from you. mike & i are in desperate need of a vacation and that sounds like so much fun!!
